The biggest difference between my services is when I join the planning process and how involved I am leading up to your wedding day.
Month + Day-Of Coordination is designed for couples who enjoy planning their own wedding but want a professional to bring everything together in the final month. About four weeks before your wedding, I'll review every detail, confirm your vendors, create a comprehensive timeline, coordinate logistics, and take over communication so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day.
Partial Planning is perfect for couples who have already started planning but want professional guidance before the final month. I'll step in several months before your wedding to help refine your plans, recommend trusted vendors, answer questions, review contracts, assist with design decisions, develop your timeline, and keep everything on track through the final weeks before seamlessly transitioning into full coordination.
Full Planning is a true start-to-finish planning experience. From the beginning, I'll be by your side to help establish your vision, create a budget, recommend and book vendors, manage contracts and timelines, oversee the design process, and guide every decision along the way. My goal is to make planning feel organized, enjoyable, and as stress-free as possible while creating a wedding that reflects you.
If you love planning and simply want someone to execute your vision flawlessly, Month + Day-Of Coordination is likely the best fit. If you've started planning but would appreciate ongoing guidance and expert support, Partial Planning offers the perfect balance. If you'd rather have a professional manage the entire process from start to finish, Full Planning provides the highest level of service and peace of mind.

Yes! I coordinate weddings throughout Humboldt County, including Arcata, McKinleyville, Trinidad, Eureka, Ferndale, and surrounding areas. Travel is included within 25 miles of McKinleyville.
Weddings beyond this radius may incur a $50–$75 travel fee depending on distance.
If your venue is farther out, I’m always happy to discuss travel/lodging options.
Each wedding is different! I arrive with enough time to ensure a smooth and seamless set-up.
For larger or more detailed weddings, I may arrive earlier. My goal is to be onsite before the first vendor arrives, so everything flows smoothly from the very start.
Yes — I handle setup of simple to moderately detailed décor, such as:
More elaborate installations (arches, floral structures, hanging décor, etc.) may require the Décor Setup Add-On or a florist/venue team, depending on complexity.
Absolutely. Vendor communication is a major part of my role. I confirm arrival times, review details, answer questions, distribute timelines, and serve as the main point of contact throughout your wedding day. This allows you and your loved ones to be fully present without managing logistics.
If requested, the coordinator may provide a recommendation for a specific vendor (such as a photographer, florist, caterer, food truck, officiant, or venue). Recommendations are based on local availability and experience within Humboldt County and are intended as a helpful starting point only.
Yes — Sea + Cedar Wedding Coordination is a licensed business, and I carry professional liability insurance. Many venues require coordinators to be insured, so you’ll always be covered.
Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, especially for summer and fall weddings.
However, I also take last-minute bookings when my calendar allows — so it never hurts to reach out!
